December 2008

What a time to be grateful!  Though the media continues to pound us with the negative and fearful messages, I am refusing to let this affect how I feel about this wonderful life and world that we live in.  I choose to focus on a bright outlook, work for increasing abundance and prosperity for our futures and celebrate this holiday season with gratitude for all the goodness that surrounds us.  I hope that you will join me.

One suggestion:  turn off the TV for this month (from the news media anyway) and ignore the news related to Wall Street.  What can you do about it anyway?  Believe me--they won't miss you for a month and they will still be there Jan 1.  See if your anxiety level diminishes.  Focus on what you have control over, what you can do within the month of December to make a difference and promote prosperity and abundance to others.  Be the best mother, father, friend, daughter, son, employee, boss...etc. that you can be and be as peaceful as you can in doing it.  Let me know how powerful this is for you--I'd love to hear.

On a Personal Note
I spent yesterday Christmas shopping, something I have not done the past few years.  This is not because I don't buy a lot of gifts for others, but because I am a high volume internet shopper.  I usually know what I want, look for it on the net and order it to be delivered to my house.  This saves me a lot of time and gas and I love it.  I don't know why I thought differently this year and ventured out yesterday in the snow, only to be extremely frustrated by the lines and not being able to find the items I needed to find.  This is when I have to remind myself of the reason behind the season and be joyful no matter how long the line is or how bad traffic or weather is.  Ever been challenged by that?

Let me introduce you to the Perfect Life.  Don't stop reading and write me off just yet--give me a chance to explain.  A Perfect Life is not something that you achieve by being perfect as you have previously learned to define perfection.  It is about accepting everything in your life as something necessary and therefore 'perfect' for you because you are in need of a life lesson and this is how it is being delivered to you.  It is about being grateful for all life lessons, no matter how easy or hard because those lessons are given to you at the perfect time when you need them.  You may not know the why or how about the lessons purpose at the time, but they are perfectly presented to us at the perfect place and time for each of us indivdually.  When you can accept that your life is perfect in all aspects, there are many great rewards.

So I ask----how is your life perfect right now?  What are you grateful for?  Can you be grateful for the recent challenges that you have faced?  What lessons have you learned recently that are perfect?

What I want for you, in having a PERFECT Life:

You feel terrific almost all of the time, without being artificially high
You have virtually no problems or conflicts---they just seem to disappear
You have ample outlets and opportunities--for your creativity to flourish
You're engaged in life as it unfolds today, not as it unfolded yesterday--so you attract the best people to you naturally.
Everyone else will naturally leave you alone when you need them to---you more easily respond to change.
You can afford to be flexible--your life comes easier because it is fully integrated
Work is play--people are love--ideas are money---You operate on a higher plane, thus avoiding the common turbulence of life.
You lose the urget to strive---striving is expensive
People love you--you love them--there is nothing in the way of the natural exchange of love
Each day feels like a fresh canvas---Life becomes an experiment that you totally enjoy
Blocks and limitations disappear--You no longer need them to protect you.

Lynn Recommends
These are my most recent favorite BOOKS: http://lynnzettler.com/books.html

Another book I'm going to get because it has been recommended to me at least three times (that's my rule on when I actually need to read something) is called Think and Grow Rich, by Napolean Hill.  Let me know if you've read it and what you think.

I also highly recommend the following as a few of my most favorite things:

    1) A manicure/pedicure from Sue Williams at Fine Lines in Carmel 317-815-8480.  Sue does an awesome job and she has a wonderfully warm and caring demeanor that brightens your day and lightens your load.  She knows how to apply 'perfection' in her life.  She also does in home parties.

    2) Connections with my accountant Brent Cox (Cox, Beckman&Co.) brentc@coxbeckmangoss.com .  This is the time of year that I start thinking about taxes and Brent puts up with my questions and crazy, inventive ideas, even though he has a brand new 2 week old daughter.  He has a lot of perfect life going on!
