Unsubscribe and Get FREE
Please unsubscribe to my Newsletter at the bottom of the page if you are not getting enough value from reading it. Really..., even if I know you, you won’t hurt my feelings if you Unsubscribe.

In fact, identify all the things you need to unsubscribe to...

I’ve spent much of the past month focusing on providing value for others, finding the most valuable activities for myself, and encouraging others to concentrate on what is most valuable to them. As part of those exercises, I’ve discovered that I get a lot of e-mail that I just delete because I don’t have time to read it. Then, I feel guilty for not taking the time to read it, afraid I might have missed something really valuable. At that point, I realize it has already cost me more energy and thought time than if I had simply took a few moments to read it through. I’ve decided to stop this madness! I am now methodically unsubscribing to anything that does not currently feed my needs. If my needs change, I’m not worried. The right resources will find me again. But for now, I’m only subscribing to the things that will feed my needs in a positive way and offer more value than they cost me in attention or time.

As many of you know, I am a huge believer in doing whatever you can to be the best person you can be. Over the last month, I've heard from numerous clients, networks and groups that over-scheduling, lack of time, energy and emotional vampires and job or performance anxiety are some of the key energy drains we all have that keep us form making time for ourselves in order to be the best we can be. So----(click HERE for the full posting)

“When I was 5 years old, my mom always told me that happiness was the
key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be
when I grew up. I wrote down “happy.” They told me I didn’t understand
the assignment and I told them they didn’t understand life.”

~Unknown, but heard from my daughter, Lauren Zettler

What I want for you for July:

  • To be clear on what you want to do versus what you 'should' do.
  • To dedicate quality time for yourself, to be the best you can be.
  • To put at least one new boundary in your life that will give you more freedom.
  • To ensure you are obtaining value from all of your 'subscriptions'.
  • To be the lighthouse for others, stand firm and attract what you want rather than chasing it.
  • To make sure your needs are being met positively so that you can more meet the needs of others.
  • To realize your value as a human being, rather than a human doing.
  • To just be.

Lynn Recommends

    1)   Calaveras County California, Wines of the Sierra Foothills and Big Trees State Park (I hope they don't close it!) Mark and I went on the most wonderful trip and communed with nature and the giant Sequoias (some of which were thousands of years old). It was amazingly peaceful and quiet except for the wood peckers symphony we heard as we ran through the trails with these peaceful giants. Amazing.

    2)   Chef Oliver and The Personal Palate:  No matter the size of the event, Chef Oliver can put together an exquisite setting and the most fabulous food.
